As the saga of the Transformer continues we see changes in the make of the Autobots and Decepticons lines with additional Transformer toy lines being released seasonally. One of the latest series released which complement the Transformer Generations 1 and 2 lines were called the Armada. The Armada are considered mini-cons which are small size Transformers, not larger than humans, but are equipped with super capabilities that both the Autobots and Decepticons want them on their side. The Armada series signaled continuity in the lines of transformer releases in the sense that the Armada series complements the larger robots in their capacities and skills when combined with them. For example some Armada releases could create new weapons or releases electronic lights and sounds or even alternate modes of the larger Transformer robots. The Armada is said to be neutral – neither going for the Autobots nor the Decepticons – but possess the power to enhance and make both lines more powerful and more advance. And because the Armada mini-cons enhance and complement the Transformer models, fans have better incentives to collect all of them. One of the highlights of the Armada series is the release of the model Unicron which is said to be a robot that transforms into an entire planet. Sice the Armada mini-cons are off shoots of Generation 1 Transformers they could often be accessorize as a head or a weapon of Generation 1 robots.
